Honey Pail Ale
This is a brew that was made from some freshly harvested hops from a co-worker's yard. I also used three pounds of raw honey that I found at a farmer's market.
Grains:
8 pounds 2 row
1 pound Vienna
1 pound Crystal 20
Adjuncts:
3 pounds raw honey at flameout
1 tsp Irish moss at 15 minute
Hops:
1 oz Cascade at 60 minutes
1 oz Cascade at 30 minutes
1 oz Cascade at flameout
.5 oz Willamette at flameout
Yeast:
1 Package Safale US-05 rehydrated
Mash:
Medium bodsy single infusion mash
batch sparged
Bottled with 4.5 oz corn sugar to gain the desire 2.5 volumes of C02
OG 1.065
FG 1.016
70% Brewhouse efficiency
